ABOUT WATHIQOON

The purpose of the Wathiqoon project is to spread popular culture about the importance of political organization and the concept of democracy, and pressure towards building Syrian institutions, starting from the countries of diaspora, refugee camps and liberated areas, without waiting for what the international community can do, i.e. start building the alternative with the Syrians themselves. As for the relationship with the international community, the essence of the project in general should be seen as preparing the Syrian society to be active in the political process, and for the Syrians to be able to meet and coordinate with each other by overcoming religious, sectarian and national obstacles to discuss the future of their country.
